The Indian Clearing Corporation Limited (ICCL) on July 13, 2026, issued notice regarding the Go-Live of Pledge Release API between BSE Clearing Limited (BSECL) and Depositories.
BSE Clearing Limited (BSECL) has successfully implemented and launched the Pledge Release API in coordination with Depositories, effective July 13, 2026. This API enables automated processing of pledge release instructions, improving operational efficiency and significantly reducing processing time.
The new system streamlines communication between BSECL and Depositories, ensuring faster and more reliable execution of pledge release transactions without manual intervention.
Members are advised that there is no change in the existing process at their end. The current procedures for submission and management of pledged securities will continue as before, without any modifications.
